Artists can nick methods of distribution from other media....after all no one turns their nose up at an album becuase they are not beingoffered the master tapes of the recording, or the 'original' ... why can'tartists sell their prints that way, . Art should be in peoples homes, inpeoples lives.... and the (rightful) high prices of non reproductable worklike paintings acts as an economic barrier to this, with the digital and itsinfinite reproductableness can get around this.
ALBUM MP3 DOWNLOADS : I have downloaded about 1000 mp3 files in the last 3 months or so.When I play them back in Media Player 9 only about 5 or so have displayed the album thumbnail picture in the display pane whilst all the others only display the default crochet. Why is this and is it possible to have a thumbnail for all and every mp3 downloaded? In anticipation of your reply. If it does not automaticallydetect the information then right click on the track and click find albuminfo - depending on the tags the originator has added to the file you mayneed to edit the track title etc yourself for it to detect it.Hi !I have the same problem as Paul...My question is : How can we save the thumbnail in the media library once we got them while connected to the internet ? It would be great that it remains even when we are no more connected...
ALBUM MP3 DOWNLOADS : I posted a while back asking for a SUCKBEST feature that would somehowhelp manage downloaded files. If you use Agent you know what I mean,you can end up with a huge download directory full of songs that aresimply named like 01_songnamex.mp3 and 01_songnamey.mp301_songnamez.mp3 etc. This gets to be a problem when you havedownloaded many albums and have to go back and figure out what album01_songnamex.mp3 belongs too.Yes Agent can save files with the subject line as filename, but thisleads to a lot of renaming afterwards. Or you can save theconventional way then in explorer, sort by date, but here you stillhave to go back into Agent and find at least one song in the group offiles and figure out what album it belongs to, problems can also ariseif for instance you sort your headers in agent by date before startingto download so that you don't miss articles that are old, when you dothis the date sort method in explorer doesn't always group files byalbum.
